A fire broke out Monday night in a Frisco Independent School District (ISD) high school construction site, according to local authorities.
The fire in was reported just before 8pm by security officers and bystanders.
A ten-foot-tall stack of roofing materials, about 20 feet in diameter, were engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the construction site near Panther Creek Parkway and Teel Parkway.
The flames were brought under control within 20 minutes.
The main school building, about 100 feet away, was not affected but the entire building has been fenced as some construction equipment was damaged.
There have been no links to the possible cause of the fire and investigations are still going on.
Construction of Lone Star High School is scheduled to be finished next June, and will be one of two new Frisco ISD high schools to start classes next fall.
