Sherry Johnston, the grandmother of Bristol Palin's baby, was arrested on drug charges Thursday. According to police she was arrested as the result of an "undercover narcotics investigation." Details are still vague, but Sherry has been released on $5,000 bail.
As far as a biography for Sherry Johnston, she is a 42 year old who resides in Wasilla Alaska. She and her family began receiving media attention when it was announced that her son, Levi, had impregnated the daughter of the Republican Vice Presidential Candidate, Sarah Palin.
It was reported Friday that Sherry Johnston was arrested by Alaska State Troopers at her Wasilla home and charged with six felony counts including second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, typically manufacturing or delivering drugs, and fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession. Johnston and Palin have yet to make a comment.
Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin intend to marry in the summer and their baby is due Saturday.
