Facebook Messages Shows in your Inbox

A friend of mine sent me a message from facebook today, and to my surprise i was able to read the message in my gmail inbox rather then going to the facebook inbox by clicking on the link in my email...

 

So that's quite a brave feature, considering facebook might loose millions or may be billions of potential pageviews every month :)

 

anyways atleast it will save me from opening facebook in my office to read all the spam emails i get from event organisers :)
