| Akash Tablet 2012 New Version |
HRD Minister Kapil Sibal on Monday stated that the next upgraded version of Akash will be fully indigenous and its improved version will be launched by the Government at the same price.
He assured that the price of what is the cheapest tablet available will be about Rs 2,450 ($49). It will be supplied primarily to students and its cost will not be hiked. He added that the new version will be launched later this year.
