Being an Android 4.0 device, the tablet has only three physical keys, which are all hard keys (not capacitive touch buttons). Though they are easy to press, they are certainly not as easy as Micromax Funbook.
All the slots and ports - which include a micro USB port, HDMI, SDcard slot, 3.5 mm jack and charging port - are situated at the bottom of the device. The company also supplies a micro USB-to-full-USB conversion adapter to connect the 3G dongle (which comes free with this tablet).
Funbook comes with a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor coupled with a Mali 400 processor and 512 MB DDR3 RAM.
For data connectivity, it has an option of WiFi and 3G connection through a dongle. You will also get a Tata Photon EVDO data card for free with the tablet with 1 GB of free data download for two months. The Micromax Funbook tablet is available in slate grey and black colours.
There is a VGA (0.3 megapixel) front facing camera for video chats as well. The Funbook will come preloaded with a number of apps like Documents on the Go, Adobe PDF, Adobe Flash, YouTube, Text Editor, etc.
